I feel the same. I LOVE the halftone effect - you know, the one that looks like the technique used throughout Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse - but that's applied to certain sequences only. The normal look of the game looks too shiny, too artificially "computery" to me.
I do hope Capcom includes some kind of filter option in Settings that allow for the halftone effect to be used throughout the game. It tones down the shininess considerably and brings out more style out of the character design. I think.
Yeah I feel like I'm taking crazy pills, because I'm hearing constant praise about this game's look, but everything about it is just plain ugly to me
